Last night my wife and I were praying about Revival. In the midst of it the resounding thought of "start with me". That thought quickly became a cry out. "Start with ME! Start with US!"
WoW!!
Revive us from the inside out LORD!!!!
This morning I began to think of what does that look like? {{Worship!!}} That's the answer.
The type of Worship that allows us to be lost in His presence. Completely engulfed and consumed with His Love and Grace. The kind that leaves us in AWE of Him and if words could be expressed it would sound like "Ohhh!" Like our Sunday mornings in the prayer room or when we don't want the worship set to end. OHHH!!!
When we allow that type of Worship to be part of our everyday DNA, in everything that we say and do... To Glorify Christ Jesus... Then we no longer need to pray to be revived -- We are Revived!!
Pray with me --
Jesus, I pray that today You might give me a sense of Your presence wherever I am, in whatever I'm doing.
Direct my heart to worship You throughout the day.
Be pleased and accept that worship as a genuine expression of my heartfelt gratitude and awe. Amen."

I have been praying about this too!
I have been asking the Lord to show me what living a lifestyle of revival looks like, cause I don't just want to talk it, read about...I want to live it. This is what I got...when someone is revived ...there is always a REVIVER. Hmmmmm Not even sure this is a word! lol
Whether it's a hot cup of coffee, cold shower, nap, run...There is something that aids in our reviving.
We need to seek the reviver to bring about this revival.
Lord have your way with this revival, revive each of us, revive your church, your city. Send a fresh wind!
The Lord also keeps laying on my heart acKNOWledge me. He wants us to know him MORE. He wants us to be sure/certain of him, his power, his sovereignty, his love, his grace, his mercy...all his attributes.
When I think about how we gain knowledge. Some ways we learn are through hearing/reading and experience. My prayer Lord is that each of us would have an experience with YOU like never before and I thank you right now for the experiences we are gonna have, cause I know Lord that in these first hand experiences we grow tremendously. Open our eyes, our ears and our hearts to receive everything you have to say to us and everything you have for us to do.
oh does the Lord want to do great things in this area, now leading up to those days, but especially on those days will He move!! I went and prayed there on Monday morning on my day off... I love it there, feels like for some reason I've been there before. Anyways, his first and reoccuring statement to me was cleaning up the park, by just picking up the trash. So I will be going over there some mornings or on my days off just to pick up trash if anyone else wants to volunteer. The Lord is working on humbling me and serving in many different ways. This is God's land, so I want to glorify Him and be obedient to his requests.
John 3:30 He must become greater, I must become less
For me, as I keep seeking Him for revival........ he keeps on asking me if we are ready to be "unusaully humble"......... He keeps on laying on my heart that it is about our heart. He desires broken and contrite spirits, humble attitudes...we could worship, pray, and be in the Word 24/7, but if our hearts aren't right, hmmmmmmm....... what are we doing? Are we ready to be unusually humble? What does that look like?
wqDid anybody else feel the presence of the holy spirit today, or was that just me?!! I felt the power of the body of christ today when people were just pouring into the prayer room today. When two to three come together... We had a whole room full coming together! Whether we are from the same building or not, we are still part of the same church, the same body of christ, because we all were filled by and covered by the same spirit indwelling and holy spirit covering. I almost felt overwhelmed by the presence. The Lord was just pouring into me with visions, words, and other things that aligned itself with the songs of worship sung, words and prayers said in the prayer room, and things leading up to being prayed over by Kelly for a fresh in-filling. I have been blessed and have been receiving so much in this season of my life. I am so thankful that the Lord has set me apart for a purpose, for greater things, and even JUST to see my sin and consider my ways. Because frankly, I always thought of myself as a "good" person, and that was without being saved, without allowing myself to be transformed to the Lord's character. The care, love, joy, peace, counsel I was giving out before, is nothing compared to what Jesus gives. I just thank the Lord for hearing my prayers to help reveal to me my ways, and he continues to do so. For revival to come through, and to usher it in, we truly need to consider our ways. I thank God that every moment and every day is a new beginning for change, transformation, conformity, diving in, cleansing, deliverance, healing, sowing seeds, breaking hinderances, cutting off generational curses and bad habits, taking authority over the self and the enemy to not be caught in the trap of offenses and bondage. Praise God that every moment, day, trial, tribulation is another chance to learn and dig deeper, to ask God those questions and receive to get closer to Him and then to share those good things with Him again! He is and always needs to be our ultimate, awesome everything in our life. I thank God for showing me that I have streams of pride hidden in me and continually trying to build in me to break me down. Right now, I take authority over pride, and I disown you. You have no place in me and I do not want any bond with you. I ask you, Lord, to replace these spaces with your love and an attitude of humbleness in act of total submission to your word and lordship. Every choice that we make is either an act of true submission to God's character and leading OR our own self/enemy, which we can pretend like we are submitting, but if we do not have the heart attitude of love and humbleness toward the Lord, then we've lied to ourself and to those others outwardly. We're always following a path... it's just whether it was the purposeful one intended by God OR the path we drudgingly attempt to carve ourself with the help of the enemy's schemes. Oh God is so AMAZING! I thank Him as well for placing those people in my life to also pour out God's words and guidance in my life. Denise, Kelly, Weezy, Pastor Joy Joy, Pastor CJ just to name a few... But I lift up the whole Living Word Fellowship Family to the Lord, and I ask Lord that you just continue to pour into their personal life and that of their families and friends for a purposeful life and a life abundantly full of joy, peace, love, humbleness, anointing, protection, strength, holy spirit power, amazing grace, mercy, teaching, and all the blessings that can only come from the only true God, in jesus name. I thank you Lord for the opportunity to grow a little and plant seeds each and every time you place those people in my path. I pray for revival in all of our lives and that you, Lord, help us to prepare for that, and start with me. Help me to be more bold for you, Lord, and when I need conviction, convict me, and may I have a contrite spirit to receive. Discipline me LORD! If I am to be a DISCIPLE which your word calls me to be... i need to be DISCIPLINED!!! I will close my TO BE CONTINUED book of comments with the word of God:HEBREWS 12:11 - "No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it."Lord I receive this and I pray that whoever reads this soaks this up and allows your word to transform them, In jesus name I write and pray, amen.
You go GOD!!!
You amaze me more and more every day. Thank you for what you are doing with our church as a whole and with us each individually.
Praise your Mighty Name
